Gary O'Kane Photography
Originally from Irish shores, I'm now based in Manchester, England.
My experience as a photographer is wide and varied. From old techniques of E-6 processing, Infra-red B&W and cross-processing to the now modern mega-pixel sensors and AdobeRGB working spaces.
I now shoot entirely using the digital format..
Some of my images have been used in specialist photographic magazines to explain photographic techniques.
I received a Licentiateship from the Royal Photographic Society in 2002.
I also teach Digital Photography & provide Photoshop classes for Macclesfield College.
I have also achieved Distinctions in City & Guilds, notably for 'Portrait', 'Landscape' and 'Action & Movement'.
I aim to be innovative and creative in the execution of capturing the decisive moment. Photography is evolving and I find it important to be aware of new technology and techniques.
My scope of photography covers Portraits, Weddings, Corporate, P.R., Travel, Industrial and Commissioned Work.
